London Calling by The Clash
There’s a few solid tracks, feel like these guys didn’t age as wel as some of the other punk acts from the era. But still love the music they influenced.
Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Bookended by iconic tracks; but nothing in the middle stands out too much. Just some good ‘ol blues + fun tunes, which is fine. The stones can (and have — and WILL) do better though.
Tim by The Replacements
This is a tough one — it’s so close to perfection, but the band had to go and ruin Westerberg’s hot streak by giving us a lame song about cocaine. P.S. The ‘Let It Bleed’ edition is the definitive way to listen to this album
American Idiot by Green Day
My first CD i bought on my own, you can play it today to greater effect than when it ripped the bush admin 2 decades ago.
London Calling by The Clash
The lyrics become more and more true every day. Living by the river has cost me my lively-hood. Brixton is more timely day by day.
Get Rich or Die Tryin’ by 50 Cent
Got this album when I was 11, required listening for all 11 year olds.
London Calling by The Clash
Yawn, NEXT.
The Cars by The Cars
Would be a 9 if songs 4-9 weren't dead weight
